With a coastal location boasting ideal temperatures
year-round and an easy commute from anywhere in San Diego County, River
Valley Ranch is a first class equine facility with something for just
about everyone!
State of the Art Working Cow Horse/Reining Arena
Operated by Reiners by the Sea, LLC, River Valley Ranch
is poised to be the premiere working cow horse/reined cow horse training
facility in San Diego County. State-of-the-art footing graces the
impeccably groomed, lighted 150’ X 250’ working cow horse/reining arena.
Nearby, a 120’ cow pen accommodates cutting and sorting activities.
Viewing decks provide a bird’s eye vantage point for both the arena and
the cow pen.
But the vision doesn’t stop there…
Dressage Court, Jumping Arena and Roundpens
In addition to the reining arena and cow pen, River
Valley Ranch offers a competition-size dressage court, a spacious jumping
arena, and two roundpens. A hotwalker is also available.
Equine Growth and Learning Center
Beyond the hustle and bustle in the reining, jumping
and dressage arenas, the Equine Growth and Learning Center is beginning to
take shape. The EGALC is a sanctuary, with its authentic teepee, rustic
cabin and soothing waterfall: a place to grow, learn, heal and blossom.
The EGALC will offer programs, workshops and clinics based on Equine
Assisted Learning (EAL) to address a variety of mental health, emotional,
and human development needs…from children with learning disabilities to
corporate team building, to dream workshops and yoga.
The Winner’s Circle Racehorse Rehabilitation
The Winner’s Circle at River Valley Ranch offers a
unique environment for the racehorse who has completed his time on the
racetrack and is ready to take a new step in life. We provide a safe and
comfortable environment where horses can heal from injuries and reconnect
with humans in a different way.
Miles of Excellent Trails
It’s not all work and no play…after all, Tijuana River
Valley offers some of the best trail riding left in San Diego County!
Still under construction, The Village will be a quaint community for the
trail riders in our midst.
24 Hour Care
Onsite caretakers watch over your horse 24 hours a day,
providing a safe, secure environment. Stalls are cleaned six days per
week.
A Variety of Options for Stalling Your Horse
Choose from 12’ X 14’ stalls in our nineteen stall
barn; box stalls in our eleven stall barn; 12’ X 12’ paddock stalls; 16’ X
24’ pipe corrals; or 20’ X 24’ stalls in our eight stall mare motel.
